Member of Technical Staff (Software Engineer) - Summer 2021 to Present
Overview
In July 2021, I started my first full time job at Pure Storage as a Member of Technical Staff (which is the title for a software engineer). I joined the Replication team for the FlashArray product, and we work on features related to data protection. As of 2025, I've contributed to the full product life cycle of designing, implementing, testing, and releasing four replication features. Those features were mainly written in C++, Java, Python, and Go. I've also been promoted twice, once in December 2022 and again in November 2024.
My Pure Storage welcome box included a lot of goodies to start my journey as a new "Puritan" (cringe).
